‘Pop' is Isabel's tenth public sculpture approaching 3 metres tall, it is enriched with a rich design in mosaics ranging from pebbles to off cut pipe, glass and ceramic- worked and advised by Tamara Froud .Having been selected by Westminster Council to place a sculpture in Berkeley Square Isabel wanted to make a piece that responds and reflected the beautiful space of ancient trees and sky in the middle of Mayfair.
Being really interested in how our brains respond to aesthetic experiences- it seems that scientists concur that looking at nature simply makes us feel happier. Isabel's work is a condensed version of form, shapes, spaces, textures that inspire Isabel when she spends time in nature. This allows for  combinations of layers of visual and physical experience and meanings, creating puzzles of sculptural language that come via the love of Henry Moore (life long patron of Hampstead School of Art) and her St Martin's tutors Tony Caro, Tim Scott, Francisco Gazitua, Alan Gouk and Katherine Gili. This is a universal language that also allows Isabel to incorporate local characteristics of  wherever in the world she is working.
