Isabel H Langtry graduated from St Martins School of Art, London, M.A in pure sculpture.
Langtry’s exhibition at the Whitechapel Art Gallery, London, explored a reinvention of forms as do her series of sculptures in public spaces permanently sited in China, Chile, London, Spain, Slovenia and Saudi Arabia.
Smaller pieces and maquettes are in collections all over the world.
She says “I respond to commissions for larger works, my role as Principal of Hampstead School of Art, London, compliments my sculptural practice and reflects my history of international lecturing, including TV, radio, Tate Gallery & UK tour, Centro Cultural, Madrid, Carrara School of Art, Jakarta, Singapore, Chile.
